So... none of them is fleshed out or well thought of yet. Brainstorming. Yep.
In a world with no females or sexual reproduction (babies are born from plants), a solitary man finds a baby that's just not like the rest. By learning about differences through his relationship with his new daughter, he learns how to deal with those that are more like him.
Idea #2: A ghost
After being kicked out of the haunted mansion that had been his home for a very long time, a lonely ghost decides to pack his bags and move to the city. Follow his adventures as he travels through Craigslist to find the perfect place to chill and as he develops relationships with the living!
Idea #3: A convention
Nicolle, the local cosplay star and leader of the A-list girl clique at Central City Comic Con, hates fake nerds. After Anna, a casual sci-fi fan, wins the coolest and most precious action figure in a raffle, Nicolle and her friends will do anything to show her who's boss and kick her butt out of the convention for good.
All of these sound fabulous and unique, and relevant to my interests.
