Some rough boards

Storyboards for a personal project.

All the crit and advice I got at SIGGRAPH regarding my boards was that I have to be more loose and stop worrying about details in the background. A year ago, I had three reviewers told me to stop drawing boards and stick with something else, so it felt AMAZING to have people tell me that I'm doing okay.

I will be attending CTN Expo in November, so I'm trying to re work all the boards I already have in my book, and add some new ones. Also, let me know if you'll be there so we can hang out and draw!

Cool? Cool.

Storyboards - Sidekick

This is a project I worked on as part of the Motivarti mentorship I did last fall. It was a great experience!

Storyboards - An Unfortunate Portrait WIP

This is the first draft for my thesis film storyboards. Like the eHarmony cat girl - I'm nervous, but I'm excited at the same time (also I love cats)!

Storyboards - Afternoon Tea

This was done under the mentorship of story artist Octavio Rodriguez, through Motivarti. I was fortunate enough to be mentored by such a fantastic guy! We worked together one on one over the course of 10 weeks to improve my understanding of storyboards and story in general. It was an amazing experience!
