Cave Girls

Character development for an Autobiographical Comic Book class I took first semester of third year. I made a small comic about a cave girl who's trying to keep a pet she can't have, based on a personal experience.
The designs are based on traditional outfits worn by different indigenous peoples of Central and South America during different time periods. I know that's not exactly what cave people wore, I just really like the outfits.
Yeah, cultural appropriation!

Bring Nature Closer to Home: Character Designs

Look at all these happy Vancouverites!

Main and background characters for a final group project for Collaborative Animation class, in which we're working with the Vancouver board of Parks and Recreation.

Very Vancouver

Character development for a class project (collaborative animation) in which we're working with the Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation. Trying to go for a "very Vancouver" kind of girl. "Very Vancouver" means: yoga, Lululemon, organic locally-grown food, riding expensive bikes, driving hybrids, blah blah blah

Canada Line Project Development II

More development for the Canada Line Project! I don't think we'll be using these characters, but they were fun to work on.

Job Interview

Part of a project I was working on for Experimental Animation. This was part of a set of (failed) experiments, and might or might not be finished later. I think I had a pretty good story in mind, so I'll keep it (it involved KITTENS, okay?). Food for thought, I guess?

Part of Our Lives Development

Character development for THIS animation. Based on my classmate Lou, for 2D Animation II.

Hand studies

Hand studies for Drawing for Animation class, part of character development from script for Esmeralda (from The Hunchback of Notre-Dame).

Guinea Pig Development

Character development for a Drawing for Animation class.
She was supposed to be a guinea pig princess on a quest to save Peru, but she looks more like a pet, really. I want to revamp her and make her a legit savior princess!
